I was shopping in Westerly last week and out of the corner of my eye, a package caught my attention - it was Pure Market Express' gluten free Boston Cream Pie. I mean, shut the front door right!? It was completely too dear ($9.99 and the package contains just two slices), but I threw it in my basket anyway.
Clearly, I had to try it that night it that night. After dinner I was settling out to watch a movie with my hubby, so I pulled out both and let it sit for 10 minutes (per the package recommendations. It was still a bit frozen when I had it, but I must say I quite liked it.
The based was decent, what really won me over was the cream and the chocolate - both very nice. I would call it actual good and gluten free excellent (as I've never found Boston Cream Pie until that day). It completely hit the spot for me and if I had the craving I would repurchase.
